As much as we love quirky independent boutiques and high-street gems, sometimes you want a range of shopping amenities all in close proximity together. Enter shopping centres, where you can shop 'til you drop while finding the best in high-end and casual fashion, plus the odd electrical shop (did some say new iPhone?), cinema and food court. If you happened to find yourself in Manchester and want to do a spot of shopping, then you're in luck. There are plenty of excellent shopping centres, and we've listed the best ones for you in this handy guide.

The Trafford Centre

It's got everyone's favourite brands from Victoria's Secret to Primark and Selfridges – you're covered here no matter your fashion tastes. There's also an Odeon Imax, Sea Life Centre and a Legoland. Oh, and more than 60 restaurants to choose from if you work up an appetite while shopping. It's safe to say that The Trafford Centre has it all.

But you'll also find smaller, stylish boutiques as well as food outlets. Plus, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols are adjacent to the shopping centre, so you can shop with the best of them right in the heart of the city centre.
