 Stokey Bears

The latest contender on the burger scene, Stokey Bears is busy making its mark and has already been hailed as the best burger in London. Hot dogs and wings are also on the menu, along with a catchy disco soundtrack. Make sure you pop downstairs for a drink at new bar Happiness Forgets too!

The Lodge

Tuck into an alpine feast straight from the Alps at The Lodge in Balham, the latest venture from pop-up king Jimmy. The menu is full of cheesy fondues and warming game dishes, and you don't even have to spend a day on the slopes to enjoy it.

Jackson + Rye

Soho's favourite American restaurant has opened a new branch in Richmond, and the menu is stuffed with winter comfort food classics such as buttermilk fried chicken, steak from the grill and a very moreish mac n' cheese. Plus, you can take a stroll along the riverside afterwards to help walk it off!

There are plenty of pop-up chalets at this time of year in London, but Le Chalet at Selfridges is by far the most exclusive.  Along with an alpine barbecue menu, there's a crab and shellfish bar, a hot chocolate bar and even a log cabin on the terrace. The original London ski-style pop-up, this wintery lodge at Montague on the Gardens hotel is ideal for getting into the Christmas spirit. Urban Food Fest

Urban food fest are hosting a Christmas themed (of course), street food night market every saturday evening until December the 20th. It runs from 5pm to midnight and it's free entry. 15 street food trucks change each week to bring you the tastiest gourmet street food, orchard pig ciders, craft beers, wine, champagne, specialist urban cocktails and entertainment! Wowza!

Night Tales

We keep harping on about Night Tales in our blog posts, but that's only because it's so good! You can easily while away a whole evening here enjoying delicious burgers from Patty & Bun and mulled Negronis from the cocktail bar, followed by throwing some shapes on the dance floor to keep you warm.

Ice Skating is the ultimate festive activity, and Somerset House have recently opened their famous rink for another year so you can perfect your pirouettes in a beautiful setting followed by a warming hot chocolate. If you can't get a booking at Somerset House, the Tower of London, Natural History Museum and Hampton Court Palace are also offering ice skating this year, so you've no excuse not to give it a whirl!

See a West End Show
